Porthtowan (Cornish: Porth Tewyn, meaning cove of sand dunes) is a quaint village perched on the north coast just down from St Agnes. Very popular with tourists in the summer months and locals all year round for the draw of the ever popular Blue Bar and its live music as well as sunset views over the beach. There is a lot more to Porthtowan than just the popular surfing beach and bar however.
